Reiki

Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing art. The word Reiki means life force energy. It is a subtle, yet powerful, form of energy healing.

Reiki is balancing energy. It restores and balances one's physical, mental, and emotional energies. What is in excess, Reiki will lessen. What is missing, Reiki will increase and fill. When people are anxious, Reiki relaxes them. When people are in pain, Reiki can reduce or eliminate it. When people are emotionally upset, Reiki can calm their emotions so they can see the situation more clearly. It puts one's physical body in the best condition to heal. (excerpt from iarp.org)

At your Reiki session, we will first discuss your goals and I will gather some background information. Then you will lie fully clothed on a massage table and relax as I transfer Reiki energy within your body through a gentle, non-invasive touch.

EFT

Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT is a simple method of gently tapping pressure points on the body while briefly focusing on uncomfortable feelings, physical sensations or past events. Tapping releases the energy and tells the body you are safe. EFT is an effective way to clear unwanted feelings that control you. Once the unwanted feelings are released, limiting beliefs and behavior patterns can in turn be released.

At your appointment you can expect to discuss, as you feel comfortable, what behaviors, beliefs, emotions, past events, or physical aliments you'd like help getting past. I will then lead you through tapping on the body as you repeat what I am saying. We will work through any intense emotions that surface as we tap using gentle techniques that sooth. After the session you will be able to use tapping as needed yourself.

While energy healing is deemed as completely safe and can complement medical or psychological care, it is always best for you to confer with your medical or mental health care practitioner before starting any treatments.

Reiki Services

New Client Reiki Session ($90.00)

Includes more extensive conversation to discuss goals and gather background information with a 40-minute Reiki treatment and aftercare instructions. Plan for 1 to 1.5 hours for this session.

*1hr Follow Up Session ($75.00)

Includes a short conversation to assess goals with a 40-minute Reiki treatment and brief aftercare instructions.

*1/2hr Follow Up Session ($45.00)

Includes a very brief conversation to assess goals with a 20-minute Reiki treatment and brief aftercare instructions.

*Must book initial new client visit prior to booking follow-up appointments.

Crystal Reiki Healing Session ($115.00)

Includes an energy clearing, a 40-minute Reiki session with the use of crystals, chakra balancing, and aftercare discussion. Plan for 1 to 1.5 hours for this session.

Emotional Wellness Reiki Session ($125.00)

This powerful 1 to 1.5hrs session concentrates on emotional healing and balance. This session helps you release self-limiting beliefs, bad habits, and negative thinking. Includes goal setting, a round of EFT (tapping), and a full 40-minute Reiki treatment.

Long Distance Reiki ($40.00)

Includes either an email, text, phone call, or video call to discuss goals and date of treatment. On the decided upon date I will send long distance Reiki to you through visualization while meditating, focusing on your desired goals.

While one Reiki session is beneficial and will leave you relaxed, it is not usually enough to thoroughly help you reach your goal(s). Best practice indicates a series of three sessions, after which we assess your desired goal(s). While it is up to you to decide how you feel after your session and if more are needed, please understand you may need more sessions to realistically reach your goals.

What will happen at my Reiki appointment?

You will be greeted as you enter Belladonnas and I will escort you to the Reiki Room. The room has a spa like feel, with soft music playing in the background. We'll sit down together in chairs and get to know each other a bit. I'll gather background information and we'll establish your goals for your sessions. Then you'll have the chance to use the restroom before we proceed with the session. Next, you'll take off your shoes and get onto the padded table, lying on your back. You'll get the choice of using a blanket if you feel cold natured. Once you're on the table, you'll get an eye mask (optional) and earbuds if you've chosen Reiki with meditation for your session. Then you'll just relax into the treatment. There is nothing you need worry about thinking or not thinking while on the table. Once you're comfortable, I'll sit in a chair at the head of the table and connect with the healing energy. Then I will begin by lightly touching or hovering my hands over and around your head and shoulders in various places. Once finished with the head, neck, and shoulders, I will stand up to give treatment to your torso, either hovering or lightly touching to transfer the energy. To finish I will go to your feet for some soothing touches at your ankles, arches, and toes. As the treatment ends you will be invited to sit up as you are ready and get off the table. We'll sit together in the chairs and discuss how you feel, any thoughts or feelings that came up or didn't. It's okay if you just had a good nap, the Reiki energy will still be doing it's work for you. Then I'll go over the aftercare instructions. You'll be given a bottle of water that I infused with Reiki energy for healing and health. At the sessions end, I will wish you well and look forward to seeing you next time!

EFT (tapping) Services

*EFT Session ($75.00)

This 1 hour session includes conversation to gather background information and discuss goals, with multiple rounds of tapping included. You may choose either a virtual appointment through Zoom or an in-person appointment at 3800 Sunset Blvd, West Columbia.

*While one EFT session is beneficial, it is not enough to thoroughly help resolve your issue. Best practice indicates a series of four sessions as a starting place. While it is certainly up to you, please plan for 2-3 return visits after your initial appointment or consider purchasing an EFT bundle (see below) in order to realistically reach your goal(s).

What is Sound Healing?

Sound healing is the application of sound waves at different frequencies, applied to or around a person’s body, for attuning, aligning, releasing, calming and overall healing. Sound healing works by applying the harmonic frequencies that resonate with different parts of the body, bringing them back into balance. The sound waves can be applied through a multitude of different instruments and tools that create varying high and low frequency sound waves. When the sound waves intercept with a person’s energy fields, chakras or body organs, the body has the capacity to match that tone and attune itself to its original state of wellness and optimum functionality. Sound Healing through vibration has the power to regulate our nervous system and calm our minds. It has the ability to reduce pain, lower stress & anxiety and heal our physical body at the cellular level.

Sound Healing Services

Chakra Singing Bowl Session ($75.00)

Brass singing bowls promote relaxation and offer powerful healing properties including stress relief, easing depression, improving sleep, and aiding in pain relief. Their vibrations have the capacity to shift energy, clear blockages, and restore the mind, body, and spirit to a balanced state. Stimulating Alpha and Theta brainwaves, singing bowls are associated with deep, meditative and peaceful states. During this session I will play the brass singing bowls at your ears and around each Chakra.

Chakra Tuning Forks Session ($75.00)

During a Weighted Chakra Tuning Fork session, I will work my way down your body to your feet by applying each specific Chakra tuning fork to the corresponding Chakra. The energy will move down the body, releasing out of your hands and feet to ground into the earth. This sound healing session helps to activate, open, align, and balance your Chakras.

Solfeggio Tuning Forks Session ($75.00)

The solfeggio frequencies are unique to the Gregorian Chant tones and are used for healing the body and accessing Higher Dimensions. During this session, I will activate the Solfeggio forks at each ear and around each chakra. Each fork has a different frequency which activates unique healing properties. At the end of the session your body will be attuned to the frequencies which help your energy flow freely, allowing you to feel peaceful and relaxed.

Reiki Training

Now offering Reiki Level I, Level II, and Level III training.

Reiki is associated with Dr. Mikao Usui who is credited with rediscovering the healing system now called Reiki. Reiki is not connected to any particular religion and you do not need to have prior knowledge of the body or healthcare to learn this system. His tradition and methods were passed through several grandmasters of Reiki. Today, Reiki takes many forms; however, the Usui System of Natural Healing is still the form most widely practiced. Practitioners and Master Teachers are trained through an initiation process where Masters pass on their knowledge and expertise to their students. The Reiki Master passes the ability to connect and tap directly into the source of ‘Life Force Energy’ by way of an attunement. Once attuned, the ability to connect to the energy is never lost.

Reiki Level I Class ($325)

Reiki Level I is the foundational course and can be considered the most important of all Reiki levels of training as this is where you learn the history, philosophy, and how to give treatments. This certification course is a combination of lecture, discussion, and practice, including giving and receiving Reiki. It requires no previous knowledge of Reiki or healthcare.

During the Level 1 class, we will explore the core foundations and principles of the traditional Usui Reiki System of Natural Healing. The four Reiki I attunements connect the student to the Reiki energy on a level that can be used in any situation to promote healing and wellness. It can be used on oneself and others, as well as on animals and plants. After attunement in class, you’ll experience Reiki energy for yourself as you practice learning the Reiki hand positions during a mini session, giving and receiving. When you leave you will have the knowledge to give Reiki treatments to yourself, family, friends and pets.

Reiki Level I Class ($325)

This course is the entry point for Reiki and is based in Traditional Usui Reiki.

This is an eight to ten month program designed for individuals who wish to set up a Reiki practice of their own. It includes a more in depth course of instruction than the above self-paced classes, covering Reiki levels I, II, and III. Homework includes outside reading and documented practice sessions at each level. Completion of this program qualifies practitioners to enter the Master/Instructor Program.
